𖦹 It all starts with a ball of clay. Sometimes, I use a mini pottery wheel, which allows me to shape clay as it spins on the wheel. Usually though, it is rolled out into slabs. These flat pieces are used to build the work. Once semi-dried, it is smoothed over and finishing touches are added.

⟢ After the pieces dry completely, they go through two rounds of firing in a special oven called a kiln. Before each round, glazes are added to give color, texture and shine to the pieces.

*Due to the unpredictable nature of the firing and hand building process, no two pieces will be identical, that's quite normal!
